Project Description

The Holistic and Educational Support for Senior Entrepreneurs and Business Owners (HESSEB) Project aims to support senior entrepreneurs (people over 50) in managing and adapting their businesses to contemporary challenges such as digitalization and changing economic conditions. The project seeks to empower this demographic by providing them with a complete learning program and developing the skills of educators and mentors in adult training.

Project Objectives

• Digital Integration and Adoption for Senior Entrepreneurs.
• Enhanced Business Training and Skills in Low-Risk Environments (Gamification and Virtual Reality).
• Educators in the Management of Adult Learners (Andragogy).
• Promotion of Green Practices in Business Operations.

Project Results

• HESSEB Empowerment Program: It will offer comprehensive development and skills training, focused on the continuous educational needs of senior entrepreneurs in digital and networking aspects.
• HESSEB Scale - Training Program for Adult Educators: It will focus on the preparation of adult educators, trainers, and mentors, designed to equip educators with the methodological and technological tools necessary to deliver the training.
• HESSEB Hub and Academy: The web center will house educational resources specifically designed for use by educators working with senior entrepreneurs. Through the Electronic Academy (e-Academy), it will offer synchronous and asynchronous virtual training using virtual reality (VR) based methods designed under the project's general strategy and pedagogical and methodological recommendations.
